Rare 1973-Dated M-1972 Compass / First Aid Pouch

Genuine US Military issue

All dated 1973

All are pre-LC-1; the official nomenclature of these is M-1972. This was the stopgap between the M-1967 MLCE and the ALICE system.

They feature a notably smaller press stud (compared with the later larger type in the last photo)

Issued from the immediate post-Vietnam War period, until the 90s, alongside LC-1 components.

Multiple available - All are in excellent condition, some near-mint.

One pouch is more worn and is missing the contract stamping, but displays hand-written "O-POS" on the front. Likely Special Forces-used. It also has the smaller press stud, only seen on the pre-LC-1 M-1972 model. Please select this one from the drop-down menu.
