Japan was a popular R&R destination for US Military personnel serving in Vietnam. A number of well-known and documented patch shops provided insignia for US servicemen who wore them in-country when they returned to theatre. Â
The 44th Tactical Fighter Squadron flew sorties over southeast Asia from 1964-1971.Â
This patch is full colour on twill with a cut edge. It is in excellent unused condition with some glue residue from where the previous collector has displayed it in a folder.
