A particularly rare and striking tigerstripe pattern known as 'Splotch' (SPL) with the Johnson nomenclature, otherwise known as the 'CIDG' or 'Coarse' pattern by some collectors. Introduced in 1969, this pattern was mostly issued to irregular indigenous forces alongside the Native & American advisors who trained them under the CIDG program.
Excellent condition with minor signs of real wear - All buttons are present. Strong colours. Lightly starched
