
50s WW2 Vintage Far East Command M43 Field Jacket - Small
Genuine US Army issue
Dated 1950
The grandfather to all modern field jackets, the M-1943 began its legacy toward the end of WW2 and subsequently saw use throughout the Korean War. Fully lined, features include four large pockets, a button front closure, and plenty of adjustment options. A timeless design for casual autumn and winter wear.
This example displays originally-applied insignia to include: Far East Command SSI, Gold-on-Black silk US Army branch tape, stamped name tape, and Sergeant First Class rank chevrons.
In very good condition with signs of real wear and a superb fade pattern - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present. There is some sporadic discolouration and staining as seen. The contract label is present and mostly legible.
